In 2008, the founder of BONDI WASH began reacting to synthetic chemicals in household and body products, prompting concerns about their impact on health and the environment. Inspired by Australian native botanicals while reading *Perfume* by Patrick Suskind, she began exploring the potential of these unique plants.
